About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Request clarity between the 72 hour and 144 hour Visa free rule

I arrive in Beijing at 2115 on 20 March and depart on 24 March at 0645 for Zurich from Beijing which is over the 72 hour Visa free, do I then come under the 144 hour rule? George
