Respected Sir /Madam,Transit visa

I am Indian citizen and I am planing to book flight of China eastern from New Delhi- shanghai-(transit ,layover 8hours) - Canada .

My question is do I need transit visa of Shanghai as I just want to transit Shanghai Airport while remaining inside Airport waiting Area only. For next connecting Flight to Canada.
