About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Plan to visit a friend for a 48 hour period, then continue on to Seoul

Wanted to confirm that I could spend 48 hours in Shanghai before proceeding on to Seoul. I am a U.S. citizen coming from Chicago on American Airlines.

Michael, you qualify for the 144 hr free transit in Shanghai. No visa is needed for that. Nice trip.
