About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We are traveling from Hong Kong to Hangzhou Xiaoshan, and then by train to Shanghai.

We have Chilean passports and we would leave via Shanghai Pudong or Hongqiao. Are we elegible for the 144 hour visa?

Felipe, if you will go to a different country or region instead of HK after Shanghai, you are eligible for the 144 hour free transit. Nice trip.
