Well, according to the regulation, passengers are only allowed to take no more than 50 grams gold or ornamements out of China.
If you take more than 50g, you should declare it at the customs. The customs judge whether you need to be taxed based on how much you take. But this doesn't mean that you can take as much as possible.

Hope helpful!

Thank you Nathan. I know the rules on the money side. Is it possible to take them out at the same time in compliance with their stated conditions respectively? For example, 5000 USD and 50 gr gold together.

If I bring 10.000 USD and declare it, how much taxation can I expect? Am I to present any paper during declaration?
