what visa will i get?

I am going to china for a temporary residence. I do not know what entry permit will i apply? I do not have a bank deposit but my boyfriend will pay for my living expenses in china. He has his invitation letter with me. He wants me to go their for a six months vacation. He do not like that i will go their for a short period of time.
