About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Transit Visa. Do I need a transit G.

Travelling from Melbourne Australia to Moscow, via Hainan Airlines to Xian stopover 2hrs 09 mins then Hainan Xian to Urumqui 2hrs 24mins layover, then to Astani Airlines to Almati 4hrs 20mins layover and finally to Moscow.

Yes, you need to apply for it before the trip because you cannot use visa-free transit.
