About:China Postal Service

Post to China from UK.

Hi, I hope you can help.

I returned an item from eBay to China, I posted it on 22nd January by Royal Mail in the UK. They estimated that it should take 7-10 working days for my parcel to arrive.

It is over 1 month later, and the seller claims that they have not yet received my return. Foolishly, I did not pay for tracking when I sent it, as the seller begged me not to in order to keep costs down.

I am pretty sure the seller is lying to me, and has actually received my return already. But I want to be sure. Can you tell me, what happens if an item can't be delivered? Where does it go? Would they send it back to me, as I did mark it with my address also? Or are they kept in a warehouse somewhere? Is there anyone I could speak to who could confirm whether my item was delivered or not?

I really have very little hope of ever getting my refund, and I realise I should have paid for tracking.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Well, according to your situation, I'm afraid that you need to ask help for the Ebay. Explain this situation and see whether if they have follow-up service (even it is not a free service). In this way, you can get the tracking number and the logistics information will show you where the package actually is.
