About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

Metro directly to Panda Breeding and Research Center?

The latest version of the Lonely Planet mentions that Metro Line 3 will run directly to the Research Center when it is completed, but other information I have read mentions that I have to catch a bus after getting off the metro at Panda Avenue station.

I will be in Chengdu in May 2018. Can you please tell me if Metro Line 3 will run directly there in May 2018 or will I still have to catch a bus after getting off the metro at Panda Avenue station?

Currently, subway line doesn't directly lead to the base and this is the same in May, 2018. You have to take line 3 to Panda Avenue and change to bus no. 198 to get there.

You can buy it on site, but there may be a waiting queue sometimes.
