panda base research in the afternoon

I come on Chengdu by train at eastern railway station. I' ll be in the station at about twelve o'clock and I take metro+ bus to Panda Base Research. how many time from east railway station to panda base? I have the luggage with me, it's possible to deposit the luggage in the center? is the visit recommended in the afternoon?

It may take 30mins to get there.
Your luggage can be left in the service center of the panda base in the first floor. You can have a check!
I was told pandas are not that active in afternoon than in the morning, but it’s still worth to say them.
