About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

36-hr layover in Qingdao

I have a Philippine passport with US permanent residency card. Should I secure a visa prior to the trip? or could I do that when I reach the airport? USA - Qingdao - Shanghai - Manila is the itinerary, I read the requirements for the 72hr visa free transit and met most of them except that I have a Phil passport and not a US citizen. Thanks!

You need a visa because Philippines passport only qualifies for 24 hours visa-free transit.

and two stops in China limits you to 24 hours visa-free transit anyway for all passport holders.
