About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Travel within China?

I am an American in Taiwan. I want to fly Taipei to Shanghai, do the night train to Beijing, see the sights, then return to Shanghai for the remainder of the 72 hours and then fly back to Taipei, is this possible?
