I will be arriving in Beijing (Tianjin). Will I need a Visa?

I will be arriving in Beijing (Tianjin) via cruise on 26th April and departing via airport on 28th April will I need a vias or am I eligible for the 72hr Visa Free Transit? I am travelling on an Australian Passport. Cruise is from Singapore to Beijing. Flight is from Beijing to Perth Australia via Hong Kong.
