About:How to Travel between Beijing and Tianjin

Can I get a shuttle bus from Beijing Airport to Tianjin Cruise Home Port ?

Has anyone taken a shuttle bus from Beijing Capital Airport to Tianjin Cruise Home Port? It looks as if we can only get a shuttle as far as Tanggu then need a taxi to the port. If so, any idea on how far the Tanggu bus station is from the port and taxi costs, or problems with this travel method? Thanks

No direct bus is available. As you said, you need to take the bus to Tanggu first, and then take a taxi. The bus station is about 35km from the port and the taxi fare is around 70-80yuan.

Hi, Robyn! You may not take the bus to Tanggu, since it’s canceled temporarily.
Now, you need to take shuttle bus line 2 to BJ South Railway Station to catch a bullet train to Yujiabao, the nearest station to the home port.
After arrival, take bus 513 straight to the port.

I wonder how temporary the cessation of the shuttle service Beijing Capital Airport to Tanguu is. Maybe it will be in operation again by the 4 May when we are due to travel, but can' take the risk I guess.

It is unknown when the shuttle bus will reopen and I don't think you can take the risk. Just transfer in downtown Beijing and take the high speed train. The way on the webpage is great. By the way, it is Yujiapu Station instead of Yujiabao for others who may concern.
