About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

I am hoping to accompany my son who got selected to study in Dalian Medical University

So get my viAs what documents needed and invitation letter is mandatory?

You can apply for S type for that. You need to provide passport and the copy, a passport-style photo, a completed application form, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from your son and copy of his passport, as well as your relationship certificate.
