About:Mount Li

We want to go to Lijiang, Yulong Snow Mountain, Baishuitai, and ShangriLa.

We have limited time in Yunnan. However every route I see goes Lijiang, Snow Mountain, Lijiang, Shangri La, Baishuitai, Shangri La. Is there a way to not backtrack? Go from Lijiang to Snow Mountain, Snow Mountain to Baishuitai, Baishuitai to ShangriLa? And sleep either in a hotel/hostel at the mountain or in Haba? I need to catch a bus in Shangri La the 3rd day.

Oh, there is no direct transportation from the snow mountain to Baishuitai. Also the mountain is only 15km from Lijiang. Therefore, backtrack is necessary. Considering all, staying overnight at Lijiang, then you may go to Baishuitai.
