About:Visa Policy of China

UK Citizens. Hi,We have two friends who wish to visit us in Shanghai.

They wish to fly to Shanghai from Hong Kong for the weekend and then return to Hong Kong. They are both UK citizens. Will they have to pay for a visa or is there a possibility of a free visit?

They have to apply for a tourist L type for that.
