Is there a High Speed Train from Hualien City to Sun Moon Lake?

If so, how long does it take and how often does it run?

There is no high speed rides in Hualien, but normal rides available to Taichung which takes around 4 to 5 hours usually. If you want a high speed ride, you may need to go to Taipei first and then change to high speed rides to Taichung. Then you can take a Nan tou bus to Sun Moon Lake. The duration may around 6 or 7 hours.
