I plan to travel from Zhengzhou to fenghuang. Is it better by train or bus? How is the fare? Thank you.

Do you refer to Fenghuang ancient city? It is a distance from Zhengzhou, not sure if there is a direct bus or not. If by rail, there are 2 overnight slow rides a day to Jishou taking 16 to 19 hours. The price is from USD41 to USD78 for different seat class. After your arrival at Jishou, you can find buses to Fenghuang ancient city
