Chinese etnicity with dutch passport - change X2 type to L

Hi,
I'm Dutch born Chinese and I still have family living here in china. I came to china with an X2 type, but it's about to expire on march 5th. I'm gonna go to seoul, south korea to renew my visa on the 4th of march, is that possible or is it too late? And I would like to change it into an L type, is it possible for me to stay for at least 3 months with an L typein china since I still have families here? And what documents do I need to give to the visa center?

If you want to change the X2 type to L type, you can have a try at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China, but it should be done 7 days prior to the expiry date of your X2 visa. If it can be done, you don’t need to go to Seoul for that. Also, it is nto easy for temporary tourists in Korea to get Chinese visa.
Usually, the tourist L type won’t allow you to stay for 3 months. You need to prepare passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, the return ticket and accommodation arrangement.
