About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I married a Chinese citizen

If I want to live in China with my husband, do I apply for the D visa and then get temporary residence? How often will I have to renew the permit?

Corry, if your marriage hasn’t lasted for 5 years, you can only apply for aQ1 type; and then you can apply for the temporary residence permit. The residence permit can be valid for at least one year, so you can renew it once a year.
