About:Chinese Paper-cut Museum

Transit terminal in Tbilisi georgia-(Urumchi)- and (Guangzu china) and Manila Philippines

Hi, Im Alex holding a philippine passport ttaveling with my wife and daugther from Tbilisi Georgia - Urumqi(5hrs)- Guangzu(3hrs)- Manila Philippines. Do we need to apply a transit visa or we are anso include in 24hrs free transit? Total of travel in Chinese teritory during tranfer is 14hrs including flight hours.

Alex, yes, you need to apply for a transit G type for that.

As you response that we need to have a transit visa G.

As I understand that ther is 24 hr free transit, why do we need to have it if we only have a total 8hrs on tje airport plus the traveling flight on the plain of 5hrs?
Is that because of entering two chinese airport (urumqi-guangzu airport).?thanks

According to Timatic, transit including multiple stops within China is permitted at Guangzhou airport only when the first transit point is Beijing (PEK).
Besides, usually, passengers are allowed to transit in Urumqi for 2 hours only.
