change a work permit and residence permit to tourist L type

I will be leaving my employment early. Though my employers want to cancel my visa now 3 weeks before I leave. Usually the PSB only gives a few days between the cancellation of a permit and the time you have to leave the country, therefore I am a little stuck. My plane tickets are already bought, can I change my residence permit and work permit to a tourist L type?

Yes, it is possible. You can have a try at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB 7 days earlier before your Z type expires.
