Taiping cable to Tunxi Old Street

Is it possible to take the bus from Taiping cable down there to Tunxi City? This morning we couldnt take the Yungu side so we had to take Yuping (Ciguangge) going up mountain. Unfortunately, we booked a room at Beihai which is close to Yungu cable.

Now we dont know whether the tomorrow situation will be like today. Somebody told me to take the Taiping cable going down tomorrow if the Yungu cable wont open.
I woulk like to ask anybody knows whether there are lots of buses from Taiping downn there to Tunxi city (Old Street).
