Hi there, has anyone taken this route or could advice on this?Day 1: Hangzhou to TangkouDay 2: climb up Mt Huangshan. stay at the top of the mountainDay 3: Descend Mt huangshan and had to Hongcun, then travel to TunxiDay 4: Tunxi to ShanghaiWOuld like to know if there are direct buses from Hongcun to Tunxi directly so that i do not need to spend time travelling back to Tangkou and catch a bus to Tunxi. Would appreciate it if someone can provide the timings and/or location of the bus from Hongcun.THANKS!

The route you listed is feasible. There is direct bus from Hongcun to Tunxi. The bus is available every an hour from 8am to 5pm and the bus fare is CNY24 per person. You can find the bus back to Tunxi at the parking lot of Hongcun Village. The bus arrives at Tunxi Bus Station after 1.5 hours.
