Goat man rat woman. Words of Wisdom Wanted!

Hi my fiancé is a rat woman and I’m a goat man. Our summary’s are pretty spot on. Is it common to succeed against the odds? Any words of wisdom. We don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things and it can be very difficult.
