Want to visit Beijing but flying from Philippines and returning to Philippines and back to US

Hello, I am a naturalized US citizen, originally from Philippines. I am going to Philippines this April, but while I am there, I would like to go to Beijing for 3 days, then go back again to the Philippines for 3 more days before departing for the US. I have tickets with confirmed seats for all of my trips, but I want to check if I will qualify for the transit visa either 72 or 144 hrs?
