About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

What day does duration of stay start?

Hi,
I have multi-entry 30-day Stay Visa.
If I enter Jan 28, is that day 1? I’ve found cheap flight out of China Feb 27 but don’t know if that would be my Day 30 or 31?

Your website states it starts day after entry, but a colleague told me Day 1 is entry date.

Chris, if you enter on Jan 28, the duration of stay starts from Jan 29, so it is ok for you to exit on Feb 27.

Thanks Stuart,

That’s great. Although I got different answer from the agency in HK whom myself, my wife and many friends have gotten our China Visa’s from - they advised that duration of stay starts on entry date so I’d have to exit on or before 26 Feb.

How can I get definitive answer on this?
