About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Hi! I'm from Costa Rica flying to EEUU from Philipines through Shangai airport,

the layover is for 4h, in that case I don't need a visa right? Is there any procedure to follow to ask for the 24h free permission at the airport?

Maureen, you don’t need it. You can use the 24 hour direct transit. When arriving, you can go to the transit zone directly to wait for your flight.
