I have a 7h layover in Guangzhou Airport, would I have time to go sightseeing?

How long does it take public transport to go from the airport to the city?

Well, I don’t think it’s a good idea, since your time is tense.
Some time needs to be left for the airport procedures, let alone the morning peak at that time. If there is a traffic jam, it’s possible to miss your next flight.
