Check-in lugguage all the way to final destination

Hello, I'm traveling from Prague via Beijing to Honolulu and vice verse. Travelling on a british passport. I have 19+ hours stopover, I take it I qualify for the 24 direct transit visa. Can my luggage be checked-in all the way to the final destination, so I can visit the city? What complicates the matter is that I'm travelling with Hainan and then Hawaiian airlines. Thank you
