quit university study before time

Hi everyone,I am currently in China on a X2 type and supposed to study here in Beijing until May. (From January 11th to I have a family emergency and I need to go back home. I heard and read the some universities state on their websites that if you suspend your studies you need to change your Temporary Resident Permit to a L (touristic) Visa? My Temporary Resident Permit is valid until June 2018, can I just leave with that China to go back to my country? Thank you,Mattie

Mattie, if you enter with an X2 type, how can you get a residence permit? I’m confused.Besides, once you exit China, the X2 type cannot be used anymore because it is for isingle entry only. If you want to re-enter, you need to re-apply for a new X2 type.
