About:China Visa Application in UK

I am flying from London to Beijing on 19th Feb staying 2 nts in a hotel

then going to Xian by train staying one night in a hotel and then going to Shanghai and staying 2 nights in a hotel.From Shanghai we will take a cruise ship to hongkong vietnam korea and end in Singapore and fly back to London after another 14days.
I have British citizenship.Please let me know what type of visa I require and how much it costs.Thank u.

Brenda, you are advised to apply for a tourist L type which costs 151 pounds.

Thank u Brian.It is like hitting ones head against a brick wall to get advice re this.My total stay in China is 5days before the cruise.Why is it I am not eligible for the 144hour waiver rule?
Do I need a full visa paying 151 pounds

Based on your travel itinerary, you have to apply for a transit G type or tourist L type for that.
