About:China Transit Visa

Is it required for Philippine passport holder to have a transit visa through China?

I am planning to book a flight ticket to dubai from manila and transit through china for a layover less than 8 hours. Do i need to apply for transit visa or will I get a free transit having only a cabin baggage.

John, you may be able to use the 24 hour direct transit if the transit city has the 24 hour direct transit policy. In this case, you don’t need to apply for a transit G type then.
