Is there an expat community in Guilin?

I will be spending the summer (June - August, 2018) there. Can anyone recommend an area for a longterm stay near transportation that is safe and upscale?

I heard there are many foreigners staying in Yangshuo.
For a better transport, you can live near Zhongxin Square, which is the center of the city and convenient to most of the places. Besides, many shopping malls are around, like Baihuo Dalou Shopping Center in 14 Zhongshan Rd, Mengzhidao Shopping Mall in 20 Zhongshan Rd, and Chaojicing Mall in 38-4 Yiren Rd.

Thanks, but I need to stay in Guilin. Forget the expat community then, is there a neighborhood or a condominium that you would recommend for the summer visit?

The apartments near Normal University in Yucai Rd, Qixing District are good, like Qifeng Xiaozhu, Mingzhu Huayuan, and Changcheng Huayuan community. You may go there and have a check.

I have no idea about such a community, but it is easy to come across foreigners on local Zhengyang Pedestrian Street.
