About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK>HK>Shanghai>UK

Would this route apply for 144 hour free visa because country of arrival is HK and then depating to UK? Thanks

Can you fly into Shaghai into Pudong and also leave from Pudong?

Your route is fine, if your Shanghai-UK flight is non-stop (or at least it doesn't stop in Hong Kong or China). You can arrive and leave from Pudong airport.
