Regardin career and job opportunity

Hi,

I'm born on December 14, 1983 (year of the boar). Would like to ask how will I fare in terms of career? I've been waiting for promotion for more than 4 years already. Will it be a lucky year for me to get promoted? Our promotion cycle is every June and December. If in case I will not be promoted this year, is it a good time for me to change company?
