TEFL with no degree...

I have no degree, I am not a trained teacher and I am 56 years old. I would like to work in China teaching English as a foreign language. What do I need to be legal, please? Thank you.

You should first find a school in China to employ you and then you can get the relevant documents to apply for a work Z type. Afterwards, you can work in China legally.

You will have little luck getting hired unless you have a bachelor's degree, 2 years experience, and either TOFEL or equivalent. You need original documents and a criminal background check verified before your hired
