Visa and accomodation

Hi,
Me and my family had planned to go to China, the thing is we have put in our visa application that we have accomodation at Shanghai for first half of the trip and then Beijing for the second half. However, we didn’t know about the weather so we wanted to change our accomodation and stay in Beijing, for the entire holiday. And we have to cancel the shanghai accomodation. Would that affect our visa application, because on it we had put that our accomodation was shangahi AND Beijing, but we want to change it to just Beijing. Would it effect our visa application?
