What do I need for beijing??

Hello, I'm planning for a trip to Beijing around how much should I have in my bank statement to be accepted?? And how much is the visa?? I don't have an invitation letter nor a business here I'm just going for tourism and sightseeing with my family for 10 days is it okay or will it be rejected??
