About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I arrive in Beijing at 4.50am and my onward flight is 20hrs 25 min later.

Do I need a Visa if I stay at the airport. Do I need a visa if I do a day trip?

Leonie, if you will fly to a third country or region rather than the last one you come from, you can use the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. No visa will be needed then.
