Ticketing on Air China: Arriving BEJ American air and out on Air China T3

I have reservations to Bangkok via Beijing. I fly in on Amer Air T1 Flt 263 Jan 2 2018 and depart Air China T3 to Bangkok. I am told that I have to pick up my Air China ticket upon arrival in BEJ from Air China by Air China. Is this going to be a mess with customs and getting from T2-T3.. Any help is greatly appreciated MikeS

Hi, after landing, you can easily get the onward boarding pass at the transit area. Then take the free shuttle bus to T3 for recheck-in, and wait for the Air China flight. Things won't be difficult. Relax!
