About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Cambodia-China, and then China-Spain

Hello! I’ll be traveling from Phnom Penh (Cambodia) to Shanghai, and then from Shanghai to Alicante (Spain). They are two separate tickets, and I would be in Shanghai for less than 12h. Do I qualify for the 72-hour visa-free transit?

Hello again! How about if I travel from Phnom Penh to Hangzhou, and 28h later I catch a flight from Shanghai to Spain? I am elegible for the 72-hour visa free transit? I’ve called Hangzhou airport but they keep confusing the visa free transit with a visa credit card 🤦🏽‍♀️
