About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi,If I fly to Shanghai and stay there for 4 days and after that I take the train to Beijing

and stay there for 2 days and after that I fly back to Singapore, do I apply for both the 144 hours free transit in Shanghai and the 72 hours free transit in Beijing?

You need a Chinese visa in advance or a different itinerary. You don't qualify for free transit.
