About:Guangzhou Travel

Shopping(retail /Individual - not wholeshale): Guangzhou Railway Station OR East Railway Station

For Shopping(retail /Individual - not wholeshale), which is better, around:
a) Railway Station(and nearby Yide lu stn & Beijing Rd. stn); OR
b) East Railway Station(Tianhe)?
Please give tips on their differences and specialties.
Where (suggest budget hotels) should I stay if I intend to conveniently visit shopping areas around both GZ Railway stn and East Railway St. using public transportation(metro, subway) ?

You are suggested to shop near Railway station, since Beijing Rd is a famous business street in the city. Besides, another famous street, Shangxiajiu Street is also near to this station.

Also, you can stay near Railway Station. Liuhua Hotel in 194 West Huanshi Rd, Baiyun City Hotel in 179 West Huanshi Rd and Xinghe Xiangjiang International Hotel in 183 Wets Huanshi Rd are all good choices.
BTW, you can take metro line 2 and then change to line 1 at Gongyuanqian, and then get off at East station.
