About:China Transit Visa

Do I need to have a transit Visa for this?

Hi,
Will have a connecting flight from Shanghai to Toronto. The layover to Shanghai is about 2 hours.

You don’t need a transit G type for that because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai if you travel like that. Nice trip!
