About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Guanghzhou visafree for 72 h

Hello
Is this OK to use such a flight plan eligible for 72-Hour Free Transit in China?
06. 12 Frankfurt — Istanbul 18:00—23:05
07. 12. Istanbul — Hong Kong 02:00—17:00
10. 12 Guangzhou — Istanbul 23:25—06:05
11. 12 Istanbul — Frankfurt 09:15—10:35

It is okay only if you fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou.

Sorry, this is not working but if it is to /via Singapore, must the person stay for a day in SIngapore or may he/she leave on the same date to the origin?
Guangzhou — Singapore 01:35—05:55
Singapore — Frankfurt 13:55—20:30

.. I mean if the flight is from Frankfurt to Guanghzhou (via Istanbul) for 72 hrs and returning from Guanghzhou to Frankfurt via Singapore - is it ok to leave Singapore within the same date ?

There's no minimum stay requirement in the 3rd country, so yes, you can leave Singapore the same day.
