Train ride from Baiyun Airport to Xinhui

I would like to travel by train from the airport to Xinhui. I understand I need to transit at Guangzhou South Station. Does the train from the airport come to this station? My flight should arrive Baiyun Airport mid morning. Thanks.

To the south station, you can take metro line 3 and then transfer to line 2 at Jiahewanggang. It takes about 70 minutes and costs CNY9.

Thank you very much Selina. Now, lets make sure I get it correctly.
1) From Baiyun Airport take Metro train on line 3.
2) Alight at Jiahewanggang and switch over to line 2. Am I correct to assume Jiahewanggang is way before South Station? That means I don't have to go all the way to GSS to make the switch?
3) From Jiahewanggang I travel to Jiangmen Railway Station and alight.
4) At Baiyun can I buy a stored value pass/ticket to enhance further rail travel during my stay?

There are some mistakes, after Jiahewanggang, you need to get off at South Railway Station. From that Railway station, you can take a train Xinhui. As for your last question, yes, you can buy the card at the subway station inside the airport.

Hi Selina. Thanks again. I managed to find a map of GZ rail network on this very site and soon got enlightened. You have been very kind.
