About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am a U.S. Citizen. Can I enter Beijing China for 72 hours without a Chinese Visa?

Essentially, if you fly Country A-China-Country B then you don't need a visa (although there are various exceptions and nuances, so check carefully first).
