About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Will the Guangdong 144hr visa exemption work in conjunction with the Shanghai one?

When the visa exemption is implemented, will tourists be able to use it in conjunction with the existing Shanghai 144-hour visa exemption? For example, I understand the following itinerary is currently NOT eligible due to the transit in Guangzhou:

ARRIVING DETAILS
Hong Kong (HKG) - Shanghai Pudong (PVG)

DEPARTING DETAILS (2 days later)
Shanghai (SHA) - Guangzhou (CAN) [transit only] - Nha Trang Vietnam (CXR)

Will this itinerary be permitted once Guangdong 144-hour visa exemption is implemented?

No, the policy allows only one transfer in Chinese domestic city, so the mentioned route doesn't suit, although it is only a transit in CAN. But you may go to HK from Shanghai for a transfer. Then go into Guangzhou to enjoy the service.
